***Due to the recent UK Government updates on the COVID-19/Coronavirus situation, I am currently closed for the remainder of March and likely into April 2020.***
I'll update my home page with re-opening times as soon as it becomes officially safe to do so.
Are you a desk-based worker training towards a personal fitness goal?
Are you struggling to strike a balance between screen-time at work and maximising training performance in your free time?
It’s my job to minimise the all-too-common muscular aches and discomfort from your training schedule as you transition from low levels of activity through to running charity events and then achieving physical feats you never thought possible.
When starting out on a training programme, it’s not just the low levels of fitness that can create problems for you; years of reduced movement in an office environment will likely be making you aware of chronic body aches that get passed off as the norm.
I regularly work with clients just like you who complain of:
- Stiff necks with limited mobility
- Painful twinges in the shoulder
- Tight, spasming back muscles
- Sore calves
- Tired legs
- Constant fatigue
- Poor recovery
- Repetitive strains in arms and wrists
I firmly believe you’re allowed to feel good and enjoy your work and training without being constantly reminded of an aching body part.
My unique blend of Myofascial techniques, Sports and Deep Tissue Massage means you'll get an exceptional massage that’ll make you feel truly fantastic and is guaranteed to supercharge your physical AND mental health.
I’m not your stereotypical Sports Massage therapist who attacks your body gung-ho and leaves you bruised and battered. Instead, I approach every session with thoughtful precision and skill to hone in on the source of your problem.
I’ll educate you along the way, making sense of the complicated anatomy and physiology and giving you easy-to-digest information that is relevant to your body and allows you to make sense of what’s going on.
I’ll also give you individual aftercare to keep the issue at bay and minimise the possibility of re-occurrence as you continue to work on your health and fitness goals.
As a hand balancer and competitive kettlebell lifter, I can relate to the physical and mental challenges of training. The joints and muscles of my upper back need to be strong, mobile, and resilient enough to deal with the repetitive demands of both disciplines, as well as my hands-on massage therapy work.
When working with clients, I bring an attentiveness to detail that can only be truly understood through the personal experience and, trial and error of training.
Beginning a new yoga practice, nailing a 10k or half marathon time; no matter what your goal I’m here to help you acheive it.
This won’t be a spam message service or an endless sales pitch. Just my way of providing some useful videos and insights into massage and movement. And to help you improve your everyday movement.
