Is it time to book your massage?
Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (or DOMS) is often felt post-exercise, usually 24-48hours after you’ve hit that Arnie pump. It’s a necessary and natural part of training as your body adapts and muscles rebuild stronger and with greater endurance for the exercises you train for.
Not to be confused with weeks of nagging pain, heaviness or sharp pinching sensations in a joint.
The kind that stops you from lowering into a barbell squat or bringing the bar back up in a bench press.
These chronic discomforts can physically and mentally impact on your potential by drawing attention away from the focus of your session.
Not only that, but they can lead to greater injuries further down the line.
Bad pain shouldn’t be a regular part of your training. If it’s becoming a common occurrence then you need a strategy.
And a solution to get you back on track and enjoying training without pain.
Let me help you today.
